Fillings and coatings facility in Deventer open for customers (15/12/2009)

Since the opening of our centre of expertise for fillings and coatings in Deventer we received a lot of interest from customers. In response we set up an customer day in November to give customers a chance to see how we have combined two key functions under one roof: R&D and production.

An enthusiastic group of 40 customers participated in a diverse programme to demonstrate our multiple food expertise in Cargill, which included:

  • A detailed tour of our ultramodern, new plant
  • An update on the latest trends in the cocoa market
  • A presentation about oils and fats from our Cargill Refined Oils business
  • A workshop on flavours from Cargill Flavour Systems
  • And the icing on the chocolate cake was a workshop in making pralines run by our dedicated chocolate patissier, Philippe Leleu.
