Calorie reduced chocolate

Calorie reduced chocolate is the result of many years of work on both zero calorie sweeteners and chocolate applications. By combining a fermented zero calorie sweetener that also occurs in nature – in fruits such as grapes – with the latest in chocolate knowledge, Cargill has created chocolate with a calorie reduction of 30%, a saving of up to 160 calories for a 100 g bar.

This new chocolate, in the final stages of development, allows our customers' products to achieve an EU-approved consumer claim of 'reduced calorie'.
